Presidente do MDB, Romero Juca, declares neutrality in the 2nd round

The party this year launched the candidacy of Henrique Meirelles, who finished in 7th place, with 1,2 million votes, near 1,2% the electorate. Senator disputed re-election, but 426 vote was out of the Senate after 24 years.

The MDB President, Senator Romero Juca, released on Thursday (11) the party will remain neutral in the dispute of the second round of the race to the Plateau, entre Jair Bolsonaro e Fernando Haddad (PT). Senator reported via Twitter that the “MDB is an independent party in the next government”. A direção liberou os estados para se posicionarem como acharem mais conveniente.

Also by his personal Twitter account, Henrique Meirelles informou nesta quarta-feira
