Mayor of Manaus sanctions law that increases accessibility for the deaf in the capital of cinema

Law is now. The Mayor of Manaus, Arthur Virgilio Neto (PSDB) sanctioned councilor André Luiz authored law (PTC), which mandates the inclusion of window with interpreter of Brazilian Sign Language (Pounds), the film screenings, the capital of cinema. The deaf represent approximately 23% of the Amazon population, according to data from the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE), disclosed in 2010.
