Vice-governor-elect meets with drug suppliers

In meeting with area suppliers of Amazonas State Health, this Wednesday (12), the elected vice governor, Carlos Almeida, stressed that, the future governor Wilson Lima, will excel in their management by adequate supply of goods and services and the proper management of resources in health.

The meeting with representatives took place at the State Farm (Sefaz) which they were presented, by suppliers, Medicines Center shortage problems caused by unpaid suppliers, as well as various procedures that involved in supplying drugs without compliance with legislation.

Carlos Almeida said that the transition team has observed these issues with the information verified on the spot. He said it was already an established projected debt by more than US $ 600 million for 2019 and it will require as much of the future government austerity so that one can behave supplier payments and recognition of past debts.
