The State Department Amazon Transit (DMV-AM) caught 44 motorists driving under the influence of alcohol in Manaus and Parintins. The actions took place between Friday (21/6) and the night of last Sunday (23/6), in all areas of the capital and in the city, located 369 kilometers from the capital, in partnership with the civil police and the Traffic Military Police Battalion (BPTran).
During operations in Manaus, 56 vehicles were removed by various irregularities, and 28 motorcycles and 28 cars; and applied 251 fines to drivers who have broken some kind of traffic rule. Also during the inspection, 47 Certificates of Registration and Vehicle Licensing (CRLVs) e 30 National Qualification portfolios (CNHS) They were collected. The inspection of the DMV-AM is made by the Specialized Unit in Transit Operations (Neot).
The goal of the action is to promote the order and welfare in traffic, as well as any notices regarding the commission of criminal offenses. The collected vehicles were removed for DMV-AM Parking, located in the Plateau neighborhood, district Midwest Manaus, until the owners regularize the pending issues.
