Glenn Greenwald will be protest target for Flip 2019

According to the publication, near 500 citizens plan to speak out against the participation of a journalist in one of the event's panels.

Journalist Glenn Greenwald, founder of the site The Intercept Brazil, should be the subject of a protest scheduled to take place next Friday (12), during the 17th edition of Flip (Paraty International Literary Festival).

Arranged in groups of WhatsApp, demonstrations of the residents was published by the newspaper Folha de S.Paulo.

The name Greenwald won the center of the spotlight after the intercept Brazil alleged leak messages exchanged between the Minister of Justice, Sergio Moro, and the coordinator of Lava task force, Jato Delta Dallagnol, when Moro was still in charge of investigations in the first instance operation.

According to the publication, near 500 citizens plan to speak out against the participation of Greenwald in one of the event's panels. The paper also points out that the group's intention is to cancel the lecture on the challenges of covering the Lava Jato.
