Change to Mercosur card is not mandatory for all vehicles

The state Department of Amazonas State Traffic (DMV-AM) clarifies that the term 31 January to implement the Mercosur Board, established by the National Traffic Council (Contran), It does not require all vehicle owners to switch to the new model immediately, except for specific cases. All vehicles must be identified externally with the plates on the front and back. Except for the two- and three-wheelers that are identified only by the back plate.
