“The inference suggested by the Flemish has no place. Enough to be offensive. The milestone of one year since the tragic event more than justifies the recent coverage, that has been made by all media outlets. Throughout 2019, Globo showed Flamengo matches in all competitions that the club played, with coverage up to the excellent sports club campaign. And by no means failed to record every bit of news about the tragedy of the Vulture's Nest. Always with the exemption, the correctness and the respect that such a tragic event requires of those who do good journalism.
As in the case of so many other tragedies and significant events, the fire at the Vulture's Nest received full attention of the Globe staff – as well as other vehicles. no day 8 February 2019, Globo changed its schedule and did not show the programs 'More You', 'Wellness' and 'Meet Fátima Bernardes'. During the past 12 months, He accompanied all case developments, always listening to the parties involved. Were numerous interviews and dozens of articles on the subject throughout the year, displayed on TV news programs and Globe. All are available in Globoplay. Globo journalism and business do not mix. We are committed to the dissemination of free information in the public interest”.
