Bars and concert hall are closed due to breach of decree in Manaus

During the action of the Integrated Inspection Center (CIF), coordinated by the Public Security Secretariat (SSP-AM), nine establishments were closed for failure to comply with the state decree, which prohibits the opening of bars and nightclubs due to the new coronavirus. The action took place in the northern areas, leste, south and center-south of the city, on this friday night (03/07).

In addition to the closings, twelve bars were assessed and six were notified by the bodies that make up the CIF. “The Fire Department's notification was overdue by ACPS, which is the Simplified Process Compliance Statement, being verified that this Auto has expired, the establishment is notified and the manager has five days to settle. Not regularized, is fined. Staying in error, non-payment of the fine, is forbidden ”, said the lieutenant colonel of the Military Police, Fábio Honda, who coordinated the integrated operation between various agencies.

The fined establishments will have up to three days to present a defense. If there is no justification, will be fined and the amount depends on what is analyzed in the process, still according to information from the lieutenant colonel.

With two teams divided by areas, the CIF started the action around 7 pm and ended midnight. No Center, south of Manaus, a concert hall was closed. At the Dez de Novembro Park, center-sul area, a bar was banned. In places, there was intense agglomeration.

The Deputy Executive Secretariat for Integrated Planning and Management participated in the action (Seagi), da SSP-AM, Military and Civil Police, Amazonas Military Fire Brigade (CBMAM), Visa Manaus, Municipal Institute of Urban Mobility (IMMU), in addition to other inspection and control bodies of the State Government and Manaus City Hall.
