Josué Neto announces the opening and suspension of the ‘CPI for Education’ in Amazonas

This Wednesday morning (8), during the plenary session of the Legislative Assembly of Amazonas (ALE-AM), the president of the House, Josué Neto (PRTB-AM), announced the opening of the Parliamentary Committee of Inquiry (CPI) to investigate the contracts of the Amazonas State Department of Education (Seduc-AM).

As Joshua, the requirement to open the “CPI da Educação” reached eight signatures. Yet, the commission cannot yet be initiated due to the activities of the other commissions, as the case of the impeachment procedure of the governor of Amazonas, Wilson Lima (PSC), and the vice governor, Carlos Almeida Filho (PTB), that denounces public mismanagement.

“We are opening CPI da Educação, declaring that it exists and that we will start as soon as the House can support the progress of the CPI. Since we have a special impeachment commission and we have a Health CPI. So the CPI is open and suspended ”, said Joshua.
